MRG is looking to recruit a Temporary Logistics and Administration Assistant – Middle East and North Africa Programmes. This role is Part Time, 3 days per week in London.
Salary and duration: Grade E (£23,895 full-time equivalent) per annum pro rata.
We are hoping to appoint and have someone start very quickly e.g. in second half of February. The post is envisaged to run until the end of May.
Initial Closing Date: Sunday 5th February 4 pm BST. We will review candidates on Monday 6th February and may either shortlist and interview from the applications received by then or extend the period for a further week.
The purpose of the job is to support MRG to implement projects in the Middle East and North Africa. These currently include a cross-regional capacity building and awareness project with religious minorities, a project working with ethnic and religious minorities in Egypt to raise their issues and gain capacity. The role would also support the closedown and evaluation phase of a three-year project (DDD) granting to cultural organisations to run street theatre on minority issues which finishes on 28thFebruary and which is due to report to the EU and another major donor by the end of May 2017.
Candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience of administrative support work, good Arabic and English, writing, numeracy and prioritisation skills. Attention to detail, very good communications skills and a knowledge of the region are also needed.
